Star Wars' Galaxy's Edge discretely breaches its timeframe once more with Luke Skywalker's emergence
In the aftermath of Grogu and the Mandalorian disrupting Galaxy's Edge's once rigid timeline, anybody's guess is as good as ours regarding who might be gracing Disneyland Resort's Star Wars domain next. This morning, Disney Parks on Instagram teased fans with a tantalizing video showcasing the legendary Luke Skywalker and trusty sidekick R2-D2 pulling up next to the Millennium Falcon. The chills weren't far behind.
From March 28 to May 11, during Disneyland's Season of the Force, prepare for the iconic character to make his grand entrance to the theme park. He'll be the pioneer among the original trilogy stars, and unsurprisingly, he'll be showcasing his younger, Jedi robe-clad persona. In the event Galaxy's Edge had adhered to its original chronology between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker, we would've had to settle for an older, Force-ghost Luke. But we're glad to report that Disney+ characters like Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Fennec Shand, and others altered the landscape some time ago.
Luke's appearances will be integrated into Galaxy's Edge's seasonal themed overlay at the Disneyland resort. Concurrently, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite will take place from April 8 to May 6, setting you back a separate ticket from the event's ordinary cost.
