November in Hamburg's Streets Brings a Slice of Holiday Cheer
The scent of Speculaas cookies and the glow of festive storefronts start whispering a season's greeting, and for some, like the legendary American singer Andy Williams, it's the most wonderful time of the year. However, opinions vary on when the festive spirit should truly take hold – for some, it's early November, while others argue it should wait.
Starting from early November, Hamburg gets smothered in holiday magic. A cavalcade of Christmas markets, light shows, and concerts await you in the coming weeks. If you can't wait for the festive vibe, you could head to the Wandsbeker Winterzauber. This Christmas market in the east of the city opens its gates to visitors as early as the 1st of November.
