The Municipal Government of Mazatlán, under the leadership of President Estrella Palacios Dominguez, has announced the installation of care modules for tourists along the city's famous Malecón (boardwalk) during the summer holiday season. These modules aim to provide dedicated attention and assistance to visitors, ensuring their safety and well-being as they enjoy the city's attractions.

The modules, staffed by personnel from the Center for Tourist Care and Protection (CAPTA), serve as official points where tourists can seek information, report issues, or request help during their stay. They are strategically positioned in central and highly frequented areas by visitors, such as Valentino's and the Carpa Olivera.

These tourist attention centers are equipped to assist with directions, guidance, and potentially emergency or health-related support during the busy summer period when tourism surges. While the exact scope of services the modules provide has not been fully detailed, their strategic positioning and timing indicate a focus on improving visitor services, safety, and overall tourist satisfaction.

This initiative aligns with Mazatlán's broader efforts to foster tourism growth, including new luxury developments and infrastructure improvements such as the recently opened large convention center attracting many visitors. Additionally, similar community and tourist support efforts exist, like social assistance centers operated by foundations for local residents and visitors, emphasising Mazatlán’s commitment to accessible care and assistance.

Jeziel Berenice Andrade Lopez, the Director of CAPTA, made this announcement. Meanwhile, the delivery of face masks has resumed on the Malecón in Mazatlán, ensuring the health and safety of both tourists and locals alike.

As the summer holiday season approaches, these care modules are set to play a crucial role in enhancing the overall tourist experience in Mazatlán, making it an even more attractive destination for visitors from around the world.

These care modules, strategically placed in popular tourist spots like Valentino's and Carpa Olivera, not only offer guidance and information but also potentially health-related support, aiming to uplift the lifestyle of visitors during their stay in Mazatlán. The city, with its focus on tourist satisfaction and safety, strives to provide a conducive home-and-garden for its visitors, making it an appealing choice for travelers from around the globe.
