Torpedo Factory Art Center Celebrates 30th Annual Art Safari
The Torpedo Factory Art Center, a hub for creativity and culture, is set to host its 30th annual Art Safari on Saturday, October 25. From noon to 4 p.m., the waterfront facility will welcome visitors for a free, hands-on art experience led by its resident artists.
The Art Safari offers a variety of creative projects spread across all three floors of the center. Over 80 artists' studios call the Torpedo Factory home, and many will lead activities designed for children aged 5 to 12, with younger children welcome with adult assistance. Visitors are encouraged to wear clothes that can get messy during the creative process. A complete list of activities can be found on the center's website at torpedofactory.org.
The Torpedo Factory Art Center attracts over 500,000 visitors annually, fostering connections between artists and the public. Its mission is to ignite the creative spirit, making events like Art Safari a key part of its programming. The facility is managed by the Office of the Arts, a division of the city's Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities.
Mark your calendars for the 30th annual Art Safari at the Torpedo Factory Art Center on October 25. This free event offers a unique opportunity for children and families to explore their creativity in a vibrant, artistic environment.
