Cultural Festivals Light Up Swedish Cities in August
August 2022 is shaping up to be a month filled with exciting events and activities across Sweden's major cities. From music performances to open-air cinemas and street food festivals, there's something for everyone.
Malmöfestivalen in Malmö is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, running from August 8th to 15th. Highlights include electrifying performances by AFIA, particularly their audience-favourite show "YEBO YES" on August 11 and 12 at Manegen. On August 10, TranSisters hosted a special day at the Malmöscene.
On August 30th, Sjöfartsmuseet Akvariet in Malmö will offer free entry from 10:00-17:00 at Karl Johansgatan 1-3. Additionally, music enthusiasts can catch Dina Ögon, a popular Swedish live act, performing on August 13th, from 22:30-00:00 at Gustav Adolfs torg.
