The summer holidays are just around the corner, and families in Halle (Saale) and Saalekreis are in for a treat as 18 partners have joined forces to bring the 11th edition of the FerienSpaßPass. This year's programme, sponsored by the Saalesparkasse, offers a variety of discounted entries and special offers at 18 facilities and associations.

Among the participating partners are long-time favourites and newcomers such as the Stadtmuseum Halle with the Oberburg Giebichenstein, Stadtmarketing Halle, Kinderstadt 2025 (new), Saline-Technikum (new), Freibad Karlsbad (new), Zoo Halle, Landesmuseum für Vorgeschichte, Parkeisenbahn Peißnitzexpress, and many more.

Dr. Judith Marquardt, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Sport, has been the patron of the FerienSpaßPass for 11 years. She praises the attractive programme for children, which extends from June 28 to August 10, 2025. The pass is available to children of kindergartens aged 3 to 6.

The FerienSpaßPass is more than just a pass to savings. Each activated pass costs one euro upon first use, with the money going to charitable purposes. Since 2015, more than 30,000 activation euros have been donated through this initiative.

The pass is available at Saalesparkasse branches, Stadtwerke, and participating partners. It is also distributed to students with their school reports, encouraging wide usage among families.

Some offers require prior registration, while others are available on specific days or times. Various offers and discounts are available at each partner, such as free waffles, discounted bowling, reduced rates for children at Garufa - FischSpa, discounted golf fees for children and youth at Golfpark Hufeisensee, and discounted entry fees for the zoo, museums, and water park.

Jürgen Fox, board member of Saalesparkasse, is pleased to have the FerienSpaßPass named after their institution in 2025. The programme is made possible by numerous supporters such as Saalesparkasse, municipal utilities Halle GmbH, Zappendorfer Wurstmanufaktur, and Radio Brocken, who have been accompanying the action for years.

With the FerienSpaßPass, families can save more than 80 euros per pass if they use all available activities. So, gear up for a fun-filled summer with the FerienSpaßPass, providing affordable cultural, educational, and recreational activities for children and families in Halle (Saale) and Saalekreis.

  3. To complete a perfect summer holiday, the pass also includes travel offers, such as discounted tours and trips to local attractions and sites, making it easier for families to explore home-and-garden destinations in and around Halle (Saale) and Saalekreis.
