Sochi Airport Delays: 29 Flights Affected, New Routes Planned

Travelers at Sochi International Airport are experiencing disruptions this morning, with 14 flights delayed upon arrival and 15 facing departure delays as of 9:30 AM on October 4th. Several destinations are affected, including both domestic and international routes.

Among the delayed arrivals are flights from Ufa, Perm, Tbilisi, Antalya, Tomsk, Moscow, Magnitogorsk, Bodrum, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, and Magnitogorsk. Passengers heading to Sochi from these locations should expect delays.

Looking ahead, flights between Krasnodar and Chelyabinsk are set to commence on October 26, operated by Ural Airlines. These flights will depart twice a week in both directions, on Thursdays and Sundays. However, as of now, there is no information available on the start dates of flights from Krasnodar to Chelyabinsk.

Travelers are advised to check the latest updates on their flight status before heading to Sochi International Airport. The airport is working to resolve the delays and minimize inconvenience to passengers.
