Over a hundred photographers join the competition titled "Kolyma: Open for Yourself"
The IX Regional Tourism Photography Contest "Discover Kolyma" is set to conclude with an exhibition in Magadan and the surrounding region. This annual event, running for nine years, aims to promote tourism and active recreation in the area, while highlighting the multifaceted nature, people, and culture of the region.
The exhibition, which will be open until September 19, will take place at an undisclosed location within Magadan or the region. The exact details of the exhibition's venue are yet to be announced.
Over 200 photographs from 110 photographers were submitted for this year's contest, which features categories such as "Motion", "Tourist Adventures", "Geological Daily Life", "Gastronomic Still Life", "Urban Landscape", and "Photographic Story". The names of the winners, who will be announced on August 29 at the new "Premier" Culture and Public Center, are currently not available to the public.
The announcement event will take place at the "Premier" center, starting at 7:00 PM on August 29. In addition to the announcement of the winners, an exhibition related to the contest will also be displayed at the "Premier" center.
Following the announcement event, the final exhibition of photographs from the "Discover Kolyma" contest will be open to the public.
