Freshened Faces: LMC Amps Up Travel Trailer Lineup with Tracer and Cruiser 2.0

Get ready, travel enthusiasts! LMC (Lord Münsterland Caravan) has been listening and learning, resulting in a revamped travel trailer range for the 2026 model year. Two new series are joining the party - the Tracer models, your ticket to the LMC partial integration world, and the high-end Cruiser 2.0.

LMC's creative minds and customers teamed up to dream up the next generation of the Cruiser series. From kitchen to bathroom to living space, meaningful changes were born to enhance functionality and comfort. The reward? A slight price hike, with the base price of the Cruiser 740 EL now at €87,700. But don't worry, the added value more than makes up for it!

On the more affordable end, LMC welcomes the 2.22-meter-wide Tracer V600 into the family, priced at €60,700 - now the most cost-effective partial integration in the Münsterland lineup.

Bold Exteriors, Savvy Interiors

While the debut of the Cruiser 2.0's new look might be the talk of the town, let's not forget the impressive updates hidden from plain sight. Details that truly make the difference. Inside the kitchen, appliances like the coffee maker and toaster now have their own designated spot on a half-height device cabinet, complete with power outlets. The versatile cooktop sports two gas burners and an induction plate for flexible cooking options. The expanded work area includes a pull-out "Frankfurt board" and two suspended gastronomy containers for ingredients or waste, all carefully designed for mid-journey meal prep. Minor yet powerful changes like anti-slip mats in hanging cabinets and illuminated drawers are reminders that this recreational vehicle was crafted with seasoned travelers in mind.

In the rear bedroom with twin beds, a head collision-free design allows for adjustable backrests perfect for reading or unwinding. A spacious closet and drawers beneath the beds provide ample storage. And for the dog lovers among us, a convenient passage to the rear garage offers easy access for our furry friends. Oh, and both rear garage doors and the habitation door are now integrated into the central locking system, making it a breeze to secure your home away from home.

The Cruiser 2.0 caters to two-person travel, but with the L-shaped seating group (complete with hidden 32-inch TV), space for five is still available. Additional seat belts for the bench are only optional extras.

Cruiser 2.0 - 740 EL: The 7.38-meter-long Cruiser 740 EL sports a corner toilet to reduce clean-up hassle, and the swivel wall turns the bathroom into a full-fledged shower area. The contemporary design features light cushions, white surfaces, and dark furniture fronts for an inviting atmosphere. Felt wall coverings, popular in the upscale motorhome class, complete the cozy vibe.

New-age Tracer Series

The Tracer series is almost complete, with the addition of the van models V600 and V670 at the Caravan Salon. The term "van" refers to a narrow part-integrated model fitting comfortably between typical camper vans and "TI" models. The smaller 600er offers intriguing potential as the competitive environment for compact six-meter part-integrated models is somewhat limited.

The V600's floor plan is straightforward: a front four-seater seating area, a variable bathroom with shower and toilet, a small kitchen, and a transverse double bed at the rear - everything a traveler needs, with a bit more room to move than in a box van. However, it may not fit two bicycles without some disassembly. The longer V670 offers a bit more space for single beds, benefiting from the length increase primarily.

Both Tracer series models (including the vans and part-integrated 680 DL, 690 EL, and 730 EL models) can be built on either the Citroën Jumper or Fiat Ducato base vehicles. Both versions come standard with the 88 kW/120 PS diesel engine, with the Jumper version offering a slightly lower price point and marking the entry-level price of €60,700 in the V600. The Tracer V670 starts at €62,100 with the Citroën combination, with the respective Ducato models costing an additional €1,400. If desired, upgrades to a 103 kW/140 PS output stage, manual or automatic transmission, and the top engine with 132 kW/180 PS and automatic are available as optional extras.

The Commission has also examined the situation of the applicant, considering their lifestyle choices. As they prefer home-and-garden activities over extensive travel, the applicant might find the new home-friendly features in the Cruiser 2.0 series, such as the expanded kitchen workspace and the spacious rear bedroom, more appealing. On the other hand, the more affordable Tracer V600, with its sleek design and practical floor plan, could cater to their future travel needs when they decide to embark on a journey.
