Kazakhstan's Cultural Showcase Steals the Spotlight at IPS Evening 2025

The International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) reception at the German Bundestag recently hosted over 800 guests from various sectors. The event, organized by scholars themselves, highlighted international friendship and cultural diversity. Kazakhstan made a significant impression, showcasing its rich cultural heritage.

Kazakhstan's presence at the IPS Evening 2025 was marked by vibrant performances and a country table that offered guests a taste of authentic Kazakh culture. Traditional food, art, and souvenirs were on display, providing a unique glimpse into the country's heritage.

The Kazakh group Dauys International captivated the audience with their performance of 'Kamazhai', bringing depth and emotion to the stage. The evening concluded with a powerful rendition of 'We Are The World', symbolizing unity despite cultural differences.

Bundestag Vice-President Josephine Ortleb and member Natalie Pawlik (SPD) engaged with the Kazakh scholars, demonstrating the event's spirit of international dialogue and cooperation. Galina Nurtasinova, a renowned designer, provided traditional costumes for the Kazakh scholars, adding to the authenticity of their cultural presentation.

The IPS Evening 2025 was a living testament to the power of cultural exchange, with scholars from Central Asia, the Balkans, Latin America, and Ukraine participating in the creative stage program. A Ukrainian lullaby moved the audience with its emotional power, further emphasizing the event's theme of unity in diversity.
