Kaltennordheim is gearing up for a bustling autumn event, the 'Let's go to Nurde!' Autumn Market and 36th Wirtefest, taking place on October 3rd, 2025. Organized by 'Rhön Feeling - Messen und Märkte', the event promises a day filled with traditional food, crafts, and family activities.
From 10 am to 6 pm, the town center will transform into a lively market street. Artisans will set up shop, offering a variety of goods for browsing and buying. Food lovers can indulge in a range of treats, including baked goods, grilled food, fish, crepes, and more. The 'Herbstteller' with dumplings and roast will be served at 'Zur Einkehr' inn, while city center shops will remain open.
The event will also feature an antique and flea market held in the castle courtyard. Kids can enjoy a bouncy castle, face painting, a carousel, and other games. Car enthusiasts can look forward to the Autumn Car Parade, where local dealerships will showcase their latest models and trends. Additionally, cocktails to go will be available at Wilhelm-Küülz-Platz 5.
