Witness dignitaries, like Mayor Dagmar Bahlo and the city's beloved Nikolaus, ushering the Advent season official at 4:00 PM. The "Saitenspringer" band strums some festive tunes for the initial day, followed by the Waldbühne ensemble's riveting premiere of "Acht Frauen" at 7:30 PM in the Marienkirche.
On Sunday, the Christmas market festivities begin at 2:00 PM, with more than 50 stalls offering a dazzling array of handmade crafts, scrumptious culinary treats, and innovative gift ideas. Aside from the market, the Edith-Stein-Haus cafeteria and Graf-Ludolf-Schule warmly welcome visitors.
