In a recent development, tech giant Google has begun teasing the arrival of its new Nest hardware. The update includes images and details of Google's latest lineup of Nest cameras.

According to a recent post from Google, more information about the new Nest hardware will be announced on October 1. The new Nest cameras include the Nest Cam Outdoor (wired, 2nd Gen), the Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd Gen), and the Nest Doorbell (wired, 3rd Gen). However, there are no new updates to Google's battery-powered Nest camera models.

The images from the update do not show much new beyond confirming the design of the cameras. Release dates, pricing, and other details for the new Nest cameras remain unclear at this point.

Interestingly, the Google Home app has also received a new update, version 3.40. The images are not visible in the Home app's latest version, suggesting they may be hidden or require manual activation. The names of these cameras are also confirmed in the app.

While the exact launch date for these new Nest camera products by Google is yet to be announced, they are expected to hit the market on October 9, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the official announcement on October 1.
