Ready to get a taste of the White House without the need for official clearance? The White House Historical Association (WHHA) has got you covered with "The People's House: A White House Experience". It's a totally free, enlightening tour of the nation's most famous address, conveniently located just a block away from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

At this 33,000-square-foot venue, you can immerse yourself in a variety of interactive exhibits and replicas that span beyond the President's Office. Highlights include a large-scale White House model, a 360-degree immersive projection of the State Floor, a full-scale Oval Office replica, and recreations of significant White House moments involving presidents and their families. Over twenty rooms showcase digital history spanning more than 200 years, including the stories of the countless unheralded individuals who worked in the White House[1].

All of this was made possible by overcoming the physical constraints through state-of-the-art technology. The project was led by Virginia-based system integrator Design and Production (D&P), who leveraged a mix of Panasonic Connect displays and projectors, along with other essential products, to create captivating, seamless experiences[2].

The interactive content was designed by Ralph Appelbaum Associates from New York and Cortina Productions from McLean, Virginia[3]. According to Sue Lepp, SVP and technology systems group manager at D&P, the goal was to bring the White House to the people in a new, immersive way[2].

Whether you're dancing in the State Dining Room, exploring historical events, or interacting with the Biden family Bible replica, the experience at "The People's House" offers a unique, immersive, and unforgettable journey through the White House's history[1][2][4]. Come and be a part of this fantastic educational project at the People's House: A White House Experience!
